At this time we do not offer free shipping. Because our products vary in size and weight and shipping rates change frequently, we charge the actual shipping cost at checkout rather than building it into our prices. If the shipping amount paid is more than the actual shipping cost, we gladly refund the difference.

Because every Southern NovelScents product is handcrafted, we do not accept returns for products that have been used or simply weren't the right fit. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or there is any issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll work with you to make it right.

Please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After that time we may have already begun creating your products and cannot guarantee changes or cancellations.

Yes! While our website ships only within the United States, international customers may order through our Etsy shop.

Absolutely! Every Southern NovelScents order is packaged like a gift. If you're sending it to someone special, include your gift message in the order notes and we'll happily include it.

Our candles are made with a premium soy apricot wax blend, lead free cotton wicks, and premium phthalate free fragrance oils. Wax melts are made with 100% soy wax. We also use high quality micas, colorants, professionally formulated diffuser bases, and Room & Linen Spray bases selected for quality and performance.

Yes! Every Southern NovelScents product is made using vegan ingredients, is cruelty free, and is never tested on animals.

Our 8 oz candles burn approximately 50–65 hours with proper candle care. Every candle includes a Candle Care Card to help you enjoy the best possible burn.

We choose premium phthalate free fragrance oils because we believe in using high quality ingredients you can feel good about bringing into your home.

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn, allow a full melt pool on the first burn, avoid burning longer than 4 hours, burn on a heat resistant surface, and discontinue use when about 1/2 inch of wax remains. A Candle Care Card is included with every candle.

Some fragrances are bold while others are lighter. If you're unsure which scent is right for you, reach out and we'll gladly recommend fragrances based on your preferences.

Yes! Many collections are inspired by beloved books and characters, including officially licensed collections as well as original story-inspired fragrances.

Natural soy and soy apricot wax may develop frosting or slight color variations. These are normal characteristics of handcrafted candles and do not affect performance.
